What's for dinner tonight!!! Italian Braciole Stuffed Steak
So I went grocery shopping yesterday and found a sale pack of thin, oval shaped, round steak. I remembered my mom baking these little "rolled up meat packages" decided to try and make some as well. I pretty much followed this recipe, but I added chopped, hard boiled eggs as well as some breadcrumbs. Since the steaks were kind of long, I was able to fully stuff them. I can't always do that with smaller steaks. Anyway, I made eight steaks and after all was said and done, only had two left over and they are gone today. I have made them with traditional sauce as well as a thickened beef and mushroom gravy and both were delicious.
