Organizing Tip

I wear scrubs, by choice, for work.  I guess there are a variety of reasons why, but it primarily it extends the life of my nice clothes and limits exposure to contaminants.   I use a bin system for my laundry and always keep my work clothes separate from anything else.  I get my bins from Ikea, see below, but any system for separating laundry will work.

This is considered a recycling item, but it is stackable and allows item separation.  I like it also because I can wash and sanitize it, as I need.  But, whatever works for you.

When I come home, I change immediately and chuck the worn scrubs into the bin.

Come friday evening, I always wash my scrubs and the scrub bin.

Nowadays scrubs are made of "quick dry fibers".  I could pop them in the dryer, but I usually hand them up on an indoor clothes line in my laundry room.  This also extends the wear on my scrubs and  some of them weren't cheap!!!!!!

On Saturday morning, they are dry and I don't even have to iron them.  Yippee!!!!

I bring them upstairs to my bathroom and use this little goodie.........

I got this from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  There was another one from The Container Store that I liked as well, but the price point difference was the decision maker.  I put my scrubs, tees, fleece overs in the back and my next day outfit in the little hook thing in the front.  I am uber neurotic, so I usually organize my outfits in the back hanger as well, so I know what goes with what and it makes it easier to just move the hole caboodle to the front every evening before I go to bed.

So there you have it.  Nothing cosmic, but saves me time.  No last minute trips to the laundry room searching for something lost.  No last minute washing.

Found this on pinterest.  Go out and be AMAZING today!!!!!!!
